I made this replica of my Best friends car to give to him on his birthday.  We terrorized the streets back in high school with the real thing. I still remember taking it up to 150mph. Car had more to go, but I was wearing my last pair of clean shorts, so we didn't push our luck.  Needless to say anything outfitted with a 440 cubic inch engine and a 4 barrel Carburetor with Air Grabber fresh air induction screams even when at idle. Car of the Day for May 17th, 2012: 250 GTO SWB

A pair of "home made" Ferrari 250SWB GTO's. My first go at casting. Both are quick with balanced armatures and both will see off a lot of "magnatraction" cars in time tests as they accelerate very quickly, corner well and drift like a dream round corners. Very pleased with the Delrin rear ends from Wizzard and happy with the spray painting/airbrushing. Detailing needs improving and the gloss top coat is a tricky balance between gloss/runs as is the oven! Easy to overheat and your slow bake finish equals very pliable resin bodies!!
