1417 AURORA FORD GT "WILD ONES" #5

The Ford GT Wild Ones is the same body as 1374, but with a racing paint scheme. The Wild Ones chassis featured better armature, silver pickup shoes, silver brushes, sponge rear tires.

heads up

Angel - just a heads up, the rear wheels on this one are wrong, they are Tuff Ones. The four wild cars were distribured with standard tjet hubs all around. The rear tires were a narrow sponge.

Missing medium spongees

Ray. I believe I've mixed some chassis' up and that's the reason for the error but I cannot find any chassis with the medium spongees in my kit. I do have quite a few Tuff Ones chassis with the wider spongees. Perhaps you could point me towards the correct tyres for these Wild Ones because I have all 4 bodies now and would like to make them as original as possible.

...but so far no dice. I've found some sources for NOS Wild Ones chassis, but so far they seem to have regular rear tires on them. I have had the spongee tires in the past, will take a good look around to see if any are left.
