The SIXTH Aberdeen Slot Car Show & Swap meet is just a little over 2 months away!

I have attached a color flyer with information for the SIXTH Aberdeen Slot Car Show and Swap Meet which will be held on Sunday, March 29th, 2009 (10A-2P) at the Clarion Hotel in Aberdeen, MD.  It's really easy to get to, as it's located in Northern MD, literally right off the I-95 Aberdeen Exit (#85), about 18 miles south of the MD/Delaware border.  The direct local phone number for the hotel is (410) 273-6300.

Our last March '08 show was a blast, as we had over 40 vendors and almost 70 tables with thousands of slot cars & accessories (vintage and new), in ALL (HO, !/48, 1/43, 1/32, 1/24) SCALES, setup in two adjoining banquetrooms.   We had vendors and slot car hobbyists setting up from all over the country, including Michigan, Ohio, Pitts/western PA, Philly area, NY/NJ metro area, Buffalo, VA Beach/Richmond, Wash. DC metro area and more.

Traditionally, our March shows seem to be the larger of our two annual shows and at our last March '08 Show we had over 220 people attend and we had some tremendous feedback from both the show vendors and the attendees.

Admission at 10AM is $5/person.  Kids under 12 free.  Early admission "Floor Rights" (8a-10a when vendors setup) is $20/person.

Tables still cost only $25 each.  All tables arer 6 foot.  If TWO or more tables are purchased, one helper is FREE--OR the helper(s) are free if they are family members like wives/kids.  Otherwise for one table vendors, if you choose to bring in a helper early, there will be an additional charge of $15 for the helper.

IMPORTANT NOTE:  Last show we sold out of tables quite early and we actually had to scramble to fit in all the vendors -- even in two rooms AND in the hallway.  So, if you've decided to take a table or tables for this show, please contact me as soon as you've decided on how many you want, so I can be sure to put them aside for you -- AND to guarantee you've got them locked down, please mail in your money as soon as possible too.

We have already reserved a block of rooms at the Clarion Hotel for this upcoming March 09 show for a discounted room rate to make sure we have some great "NIGHT BEFORE ROOM TRADING" for those vendors who stay over at the Clarion hotel and a few hobbyists that either stay over or dropped in to get an "early look" at some of their displays.  However, you need to reserve your rooms about a month in advance to insure the Clarion is still holding the rooms at that discounted rate.  If you change your mind, it's very easy to cancel by phone right up until the day before the show (Sat 3/28).  If you're interested, please call the hotel at the local number I noted and ask for the special room rates reserved the 3/29 Slot Car Toy Show (for Saturday 3/28).
