A decent copy of the highly sought after AFX Can Am McLaren.

This car rides on an original but fully reconditioned AFX non magnatraction chassis and performs very well. As with any car with racing wings, be particularly careful with the spoilers on the back.

Apparently the only reason Tony Brown doesn't drive one is there ain't much room for the shopping bags !

i have been on the fence about ordering one of these AW McLaren can am bodies. yours does look to be moulded and painted up quite nice. tho it has the dreaded AW 4X4 look going on. if i do get one of these, thats the first thing i will fix.

nice car

I must confess that I do not have room in my shopping bags at the moment-I do have the Oscar Koveleski Auto World car though. Nice car Angel! The Revson number 7 was an M8D I believe and I will put on my thinking cap. God Bless! TonyCoolmgbbrown

Peter Revson was the first American to win the Can-Am championship, doing so in 1971 under the McLaren team banner. Peter first distinguished himself in the M8D and later in the M8F. Here is a photograph of his M8D at Laguna Seca in 1971. God Bless! TonyCoolmgbbrown

I didn't realize these were Baja Rally cars.  I think the designer really blew it on the ride height.  I'm all for reproduction cars to have some intentional obvious differences from the originals, but...come ON...

Ray. I've tried the various chassis' and the ride height doesn't really differ much between them. It's just one of those quirky and annoying traits of this body.

i can get that body dropped in the weeds. how much is one of those AW knock off bodys? i may have to get one, and lower it just to see it without the 4X4 look. its not the chassis its all in the body mounting points that caused this. i figue being the mclaren is a "cheese wedge", it should be at least close to scraping the track.

so who has these bodies? buds maybe?
