I was going to post a response to John, who gave me some advice about AFX bodies on my blog "I just do my Best" (page 2) and I noticed that two pictures had gone down the rabbit hole. (AKA ? marks). Is that by design? Is someone POed at me? I thought it was good stuff!

I see a total of 3 pictures - the lead image and 2 embedded.

Serge; I too have had my pictures tossed into the Great Abyss on several occasions and have had to go back and restore them. I am not quite sure of the cause as it would appear that the source is immaterial. God Bless! Tony mgbbrown

Sorry, I see it now - I was looking at the wrong post. No idea why they went poof; revisions doesn't show any changes.

I replaced the pictures, let's see what happens.
I did notice another thing. When I edited the week old post, it appeared on the "recent comments" looking suspiciously like a new post.
Sorry, Serge

I had some pics go in that rabbit hole also. They were there last night gone today. I will repost the pics tonight and see what happens also. The blog was "Trundle Track Revisited.

I think there is a problem with the OCU. On the blog "Trundle Track Revisited" I have posted pictures twice and on some of the pictures it took three tries with OCU.
I'm beginning to think someone is either playing with me or like Serge has said someone is ticked off with me.
Big-T
Could be OCU...but once uploaded they should stay - OCU just gets them there.
This has been happening intermittently, but I'm stuck as to why.

That's a lot of edits:
Nevertheless, it shouldn't be dropping anything. Could be the editor. All of the above revisions are saved, so we could try reverting.

When I check the image library, the images that are staying are there. However, the others I could not find. I guess my question is am I looking for the images in the correct location when I browse to the image library?
I am in Full HTML mode, I select the add media button, which brings up the browse screen, I then choose Library. I am assuming this is where all the images are stored.

I got the following message when I was trying to save a post... notice the message refers to OCU. Maybe this will help. This could be the same issue MGB was having also.
Big-T
I have never checked to see if images loaded through different mechanisms were all stored in the same place. Us regular admins have access to the file system in just this one place... It may be worth doing a test blog (no need to publish it) where you load a couple of new images using the code above and below the edit window, and then load a couple more new images from within the Full HTML editor. Then go back and check the "library" to see if they all end up there...
Perhaps the load process is being interrupted??
Joe
Thanks, first I've seen the ocupload message. Big T - can you copy and paste the text from that for me?

I could not copy and paste form the image that I saved, so I manually typed it out hope that will work for you.

I think it is more than two.
I keep seeing this in the logs:
In any case, I made another change. Big-T, if you could upload some images again i want to track where they are going, file permissions, etc.

A test image in the Trundle Track Blog... it is a test image mind you... I am not where I can get one of the original images

Fixed OCUpload to work with a token, all uploaded files should now appear in your library.

At first glance I thought we were pushing up daisies here!!
Big-T
If you hover over the images, you can see the path. Look at the error message you posted and where it was stored vs. the daisy's.

Delete the blog and start over... what are your thoughts?
Big-T
For now just reupload the missing ones and keep track of the file names and whether or not they appear in your library.

That the photos will stay now. They are showing up in the librarary now.
File names are as follows

I got the following error when saving this post
Big-T
Ack - you got that error after I turned off subscriptions?

Yes, I understand now go to the Blog "Trundle Track Revisited" and when you hover over the lead in image you get the path... the other images that are left in the body of the blog do not show a path. The only difference is I use OCU in the body of the blog. Again today all but three images remain. And when you browse to the libary these three images can be seen and none of the others.
In addition I am still getting those error messages when saving.
Big-T
Just turned off subscriptions module pending a fix for that. No word back on ocupload errors yet.

Ray; to add misery I have to report losing a photo from my comment to Barry about Cheetahs in general. Sorry! I will repost the photo. God Bless! Tony
