Man Ray! This Site Has Taken the Life Out Of You!

One day I will have to scan my high school photo for the site back in the 1970's when there were no fashion police. I say this as I know- but you do not know just how bad that photo really was. I mean I was wearing a bow tie that was so big that it cast its own shadow. Not really, but man it was humongous. After the yearbook was published in 1974 it was the last bow tie I ever wore. Now the 1970's birthed Aurora AFX cars, and some of their wild paint schemes were from the period and rightly so. Our site administrator Ray was also of that particular era, as his then photo illustrates which I just happened to find in Classmates.com. Ray has worked countless hours on the site, and it has been to his credit that HO Slotracer.com is what it is today. Ray's new photo avatar of himself seems to indicate that somehow the life has been sucked out of him. Let us hope to the contrary, but we are concerned. God Bless! TonyCoolmgbbrown

One can only hope that the photo of the "Fro" has been doctored. If somebody showed up in my high school looking like that (back in the day) he probably would have received a free haircut sometime around lunch time. Nice moustache though!

For the last week my computer has opened to this photo shop picture of you, whenever I pull up the site. It is very disturbing. I finally figured out why. It looks like a cross between Lindsey Buckingham and Pancho Villa with a smidge of Carlos Santana.(shirt)

This is what we really looked like back in the day.
