A Plea to eBay: Please Stop the Madness
The purpose of this campaign is to effectively seek from eBay, inc. a permanent ban of the persons using the following userids:
- Boosa14 (now DBA boss.of.toys.usa)
- 3547Nate (now DBA toyz4boyzandlittlegirlz2)
If you agree, please SIGN THE PETITION BELOW.
We the undersigned, users of eBay and members of the Slot Car Nation from around the world, hereby petition eBay, Inc. to effect a permanent ban on the following userids:
- Boosa14 or boss.of.toys.usa
- 3547Nate or toyz4boyzandlittlegirlz2
The persons using the above userid's have caused permanent harm to eBay's reputation and to the buyers and sellers of slot cars and hobby related items worldwide through nefarious activities, thereby undermining eBay's reputation for honesty, as well as causing irreparable harm to slot car enthusiasts.
- Boosa14 is known to lie, cheat, deceive, keyword spam and willfully not complete orders that are paid for.
- 3547Nate is a related id that is used for shill bidding and retaliatory purchasing, as well as other activities that violate eBay policy.
Further, the users of these id's have established a reputation for taking advantage of the unknowing and innocent users new to the slot car category. If these pariahs are continued to be allowed to perform business on eBay, no good will come of it. Due to the high number of negatives, and the irreparable harm these persons have caused eBay and the Slot Car Community, we hereby implore eBay to take permanent action against the userids and the persons using them.
Thank you.

Keyword Spam
Submitted by mgbbrown on Tue, 12/08/2009 - 05:48.Angel; Keyword Spam is using words in the auction title that although intended to direct potential bidders to the auction-they have absolutely nothing to do with the item being auctioned. If you go to the Help section on ebay they offer a tutorial. Ebay if this is determined removes the auction and will NOT refund your insertion fees. It would be like adding Styrene or NASCAR to an Aurora Thunderjet Torino auction. I hope this helps! God Bless! Tony

Was I partially Right?
Submitted by mgbbrown on Tue, 12/08/2009 - 16:20.Ray; Was my definition right? It was waaay too early to have all of my creative juices flowing at o' dark thirty when I made my reply! I was busted once by an irate ebayer on a Heuer auction by having the words Halda and Rally which are bonifide links-ebay saw it as such and reinstated my fees. I was beyond hot but in the end goodness prevailed and I rode away into the sunset! God Bless! Tony

In this case
Submitted by Admin on Tue, 12/08/2009 - 07:15.It's a little more obvious than that. A good example is an aurora tjet auto world dash tyco lionel atlas torino slot car. So now this one stupid auction has showed up in a bunch of my saved searches unnecessarily.
