Who are these guys anyway? Road Race Replicas is just two hardworking guys who are here full time everyday to make the world's largest variety of replacement parts for Aurora and Tyco H.O. slot cars! Hi, I'm Phil Pignon, the owner and with my trusty employee Josh, we make every effort to ensure your parts are shipped as fast as we can make and pack them.  Road Race Replicas started out as a small basement operation, and then in 1993 my wife and I moved RRR to Southwest Missouri, near Springfield, to the "beauty and serenity of the Ozarks". We now have a new large shop designed solely for Road Race Replicas with its own molding room, paint/detail room, stock room, and shipping area.
My slot car collecting interests started in 1992 and are strictly H.O. slots.   I specialize in Aurora Thunderjets, and AFX (imagine that!) but my favorite part of H.O. collecting is the customizing.  My favorite car is a T-jet Dragula I scratch-built a couple years ago, but I always enjoy creating something new. My NEW favorite car is "the one I built last week", because it is just so much fun create something else.  If you enjoy custom building too, email me a photo as I always enjoy seeing and collecting other's works.
