Welcome Back Redux
Friends,
Welcome to the new hoslotracer.com. We have rebuilt it. We have the technology. It just took a lot longer than expected. It's amazing what you can take for granted only to fritter away yet another day making one little thing work again.
As you may or may not realize, we recently had a traumatic experience trying to upgrade the site. We tried to rescue it, but to no avail. What remains of it can be seen at hoslotcarscommunity.com.
For now, I recommend the following:
- Create a new account
- Go to the other site and copy the text and or photos of anything you'd like to save and repost here.
This site has been rebuilt from scratch, the underlying foundation of the old site was never very stable, so this gives us a solid platform to build on for the future. As you can see, there is much left to be done and the progress should be obvious in the coming days.
Anyways, welcome back - we missed ya.

Naaaaah...
Posted by Stig McQueen on Thu, 2011-05-26 21:35...everybody knows you have to use gaffer's tape for electrical work!
I just do what the voices in my wife's head tell her to tell me to do.
Just Pour the Coke on It
Posted by mgbbrown on Tue, 2011-05-24 16:28Just pour some of that two week old Coke on it and it should be fine. Big-T is right, but there is duct tape and then there is Gorilla Tape-I taped up the glass on my MGB GT parts car with it and I will never go back. Good luck with your new computer! God Bless! ... next time, use a bigger hammer
Posted by aussie ho on Thu, 2011-05-26 03:15As a Tradesman, nothing can do the job like the correct tool can. Bigger is better... next time, use a bigger hammer!
Exactly!
Posted by Stig McQueen on Fri, 2011-05-27 16:30A little percussive maintenance cures all ills! (Or at least it makes you feel better, anyway!)

Ball Peen Hammer
Posted by mgbbrown on Fri, 2011-05-27 17:22A proper British car tool roll should include a ball peen hammer for abrupt persuasion. They work particularly well with British Skinners Union fuel pumps. I have been looking for one (a period Shelly or Snail Brand hammer) for several years now. God Bless! Tony mgbbrown
