Our John Island will turn One hundred and eleven tomorrow; making him THE OLDEST SLOT CAR RACER ON THE PLANET. He was quite the rail-man in his day. I hear these now go for a pretty penny. That's John with the hat and cigarette dangling from his mouth-he's in the lead. Happy Birthday John Island! God Bless! Tony mgbbrown

Serge, I remember sander drags were a big thing back when. Can't recall how long the "tracks" were, but some of those racers were extremely serious competitors. They still do those drags?
